A new grant worth nearly $8 million—the largest Cal Poly Pomona has ever received—will soon begin providing funding for a groundbreaking science education partnership with the Pomona Unified School District.
The funding will enable computer information systems Professor Dan Manson to create the National Cybersecurity Sports Federation, an umbrella organization that will offer guidance in branding cybersecurity competitions.
The College of Business Administration will fast track its plans to create a West Coast cybersecurity league thanks to a $3 million grant from the National Science Foundation awarded to Cal Poly Pomona and a consortium of western colleges.
More than 40 faculty members will share their scholarship and research with their colleagues at the Provost's Symposium on Faculty Scholarship and Teaching on Monday, Dec. 13.
Cal Poly Pomona has been awarded $1 million from the National Science Foundation's Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics Talent Expansion Program.
