Cal Poly Pomona has been recognized as one of the “Best Colleges in America” by Money, receiving 4.5 out of 5 stars, based on quality of education, affordability and student outcomes.
“Cal Poly Pomona’s learn-by-doing approach provides a wealth of internships and research opportunities,” noted the review in the university profile, which also recognized CPP’s renowned programs engineering, business, hospitality management, agriculture and apparel merchandising and management.
The ranking also highlighted the university’s graduation rate of 76 percent, which is “nearly 16% higher than expected based on schools with comparable student demographics, according to Money’s analysis… Students go on to post median early-career salaries of $67,000.”
For the 2023 ranking, Money redesigned their analysis into grouped ratings rather than a numerical ranking. In an accompanying article, the outlet noted that, “While the underlying analysis methodology is similar to previous years, the new rating system can help families with their college search by highlighting the variety (and diversity) of high-value colleges in the U.S.”
