Cal Poly Pomona is one of 15 student teams selected as finalists in NASA’s Revolutionary Aerospace Systems Concepts – Academic Linkage (RASC-AL) Competition. Led by aerospace engineering Associate Professor Navid Nakhjiri, the team’s project – “Sci-NAP: Science & Network Access Platform” – is competing in the theme category “Multi-use Platform at L1” — an architecture and system concept that provides spacecraft services and logistics deployed to and operated in the space between the Earth and the moon.
