One of Don B. Huntley’s many passions is a collection of western art that he shares with the CPP community. Over the years, Huntley has donated several oil paintings and sculptures that depict wildlife, or landscapes and buckaroo art to the university. These, along with antique items included in his estate, make up this year’s Huntley Collection of Art of the West. These works reflect the creatures that live, traverse, subsist and survive in what we call the landscape of the wild, wild west. The gallery returns for the early spring semester with hours, Monday – Tuesday, Saturday – Sunday noon to 4 p.m. and Wednesday – Thursday 4 to 8 p.m.
