In this episode, Melane Olmeda, a political science student at CPP, examines how extreme heat affects the lives of ordinary people in three different communities; including a representative from Latino/a/x communities who is involved in a local activist group, a roof contractor who installs solar roofs in Southern California, as well as a resident of Pomona. Melane weaves in other climate issues, such as wildfires, and explores the impact such events have on their everyday lives and the lives of those around them.
