Cynthia Pickett Appointed Chief Diversity Officer

In a message to the university community, President Soraya M. Coley announced the appointment of Cynthia Pickett as presidential associate for inclusion and chief diversity officer (CDO). Pickett comes to Cal Poly Pomona from DePaul University, and as CDO will provide leadership in the university’s efforts to advance equity, diversity and inclusion and collaborate across campus in fostering a campus climate where all feel welcome and can succeed.
