CSU Juneteenth Symposium

A large group of delegates from across the university smile together at the CSU’s Inaugural Juneteenth Symposium. The two-day event was the first-of-its-kind bringing all 23 campuses together for an intentional and authentic Juneteenth recognition and celebration of Black excellence. In a post recapping the events of the conference, President Soraya M. Coley reaffirmed our shared mission to student success. “As educators, it is our duty and obligation to uplift our students from all walks of life — and that simply cannot be separated from the active, everyday work we must do to erase the systemic barriers that hold them back. Together, we can stand up, step up and do the hard work to create a more just and equitable world.”
