The university is receiving numerous phishing attempts for personal information, including personal email addresses and cell phone numbers. In some cases, the attempts appear to be coming from campus email addresses of staff, faculty and administration. Responding to these scams increases the likelihood of receiving more in the future. Any messages with “Ex” in the subject line come from external entities and should be reviewed more carefully.
