Join the Center for Advancement of Faculty Excellence (CAFE) to recognize the 2022 recipients of the Wall of COOL (Celebrating Outstanding Opportunities for Learning). This year’s awardees include Berit Givens (mathematics and statistics); Iman Hemmatian (international business and marketing); Janel Ortiz (biological sciences) and Kate Ozment (English and modern languages). An interactive workshop will follow the awards, led by José Bowen, author of “Teaching Naked,” “Teaching Change” and the forthcoming “Inclusive Teaching Techniques: A Short Guide for Everyone.” Bowen will discuss “Inclusive Teaching for Everyone: Reaching More Students.
