Assistant Professor of liberal studies Jeff Roy, who is also a violinist, vocalist and ethnomusicologist, has released his debut album “Arco” on all major streaming platforms. The five-track album is Roy’s reflection on living through a pandemic and the shifting relations, loss and recuperation that resulted from it. Roy focused on bridging the divide between classical, indie and electronic music, and the album interweaves violin, vocals and percussion with sounds from L.A. cityscapes and environments.
