Lieutenant David Hall has been selected as the interim chief of police at Cal Poly Pomona and started Monday, Aug. 16. Hall’s extensive experience in management and direction of department functions will be crucial during this period. He will provide support in this role throughout the duration of the permanent search for the position. A CSU alumnus, graduating with a B.A. from Cal State Fullerton, Hall most recently served as assistant chief of police at Cal State Dominguez Hills and previously served as a sergeant and officer in the Los Angeles Police Department.
