In a message to the campus community, President Soraya M. Coley condemned the rising violence and racism targeting Asians, Asian Americans and Pacific Islanders. Citing a recent report documenting the escalation of anti-Asian and anti-Pacific Islander bias and violence over the past year, Coley affirmed the campus’ support for students, faculty and staff of Asian and Pacific Islander descent and called on the Cal Poly Pomona community to take steps to ensure that all members of the CPP family can thrive and reach their full potential.
