Iris Levine, dean of the College of Letters, Arts, and Social Sciences, was featured in “VOX Femina L.A. Gets the Word Out With Suffrage Cantata” published by San Francisco Classical Voice. The all-women choir founded in 1997 by Levine, who is the artistic director, was featured in the new film, “Shout the Revolution,” which premiered Sunday. The film captures the struggle for women’s right to vote through women’s voices and music blended with historical images and footage.
