Latino Males, State Violence and Healing in the Barrio

his webinar on Oct. 6 at 6 p.m. will explore the traumas many Latino males experience and focus on key interventions and healing practices to overcome the wounds of systemic racism. The discussion will feature educator and youth advocate Ismael Huerta and Hector Verdugo, associate executive director of Homeboy Industries, and will be moderated by Alvaro Huerta, associate professor in urban and regional planning and ethnic and women’s studies.
