Email Scam Alert

The university has seen a sizeable increase in spam emails and phishing attempts. Cyber criminals often use job offers, work-from-home opportunities or COVID-19 products to phish for credit card or personal information, spread misinformation or sell fraudulent products. IT recommends the following tips to stay safe: think before you click; do not respond to inquiries about checks; hang up on robocalls; research any requests for donations; and protect your login information.
