Community Town Hall on DACA


The Office of Inclusive Excellence and Diversity invites you to discuss the U.S. Supreme Court’s decision on DACA, a policy offering work authorization and protection from deportation for immigrants who came to the U.S. as children. The town hall on DACA will be held Friday, June 26 from 1 to 2:30 p.m. Panelists will include Elda Rosales, CSU and CARECEN staff attorney; Mecir Ureta Rivera, coordinator for undocumented student services; and Frances Teves, assistant vice president of government and external affairs. They’ll explain the ruling, its impact on students and staff, and will answer questions from the audience. Check your CPP email for the Zoom login info.
