Zoom Security Changes


In order to minimize the risk of uninvited guests disrupting a course session or meeting on Zoom, the Division of Information Technology and Institutional Planning has updated the default settings of certain features within Zoom. These changes include disabling shared annotations, the ability for participants to share their screen (hosts still can) and embedding passwords into one-click join URLs. Review the default settings for your Zoom account and make any intentional security decisions. Contact the IT Service Desk with questions.
