Office Space

Workspace with computers and child's rug.

“My wife works at home full-time while watching our two kids (ages 2 and 3). I’ve actually invaded her office for the time being. Because we trade off our work/kid responsibilities every couple of hours, we are rarely working at the same time. We also keep our family calendar updated with our work meetings so we know when one of us needs to be in the home office while the other can distract the kids downstairs. It has been hard to get into a rhythm when it comes to work, but it has been successful because we communicate our schedules with each other.”
