Kenneth Lamb has joined Academic Innovation as the faculty director for the Student Innovation Idea Labs (iLabs).
As the faculty director, Lamb will provide strategic and tactical leadership for the iLabs. Among other responsibilities, the faculty director will advance and promote a vision of creativity, innovation and entrepreneurship at Cal Poly Pomona and in the surrounding communities that aligns with the university’s Strategic Plan and Academic Master Plan.
Lamb joined the civil engineering department at Cal Poly Pomona as an assistant professor in 2011 and earned tenure and promotion to associate professor in 2017. Lamb will continue to serve as a tenured associate professor in the department.
Lamb is committed to the academic success of CPP students as well as to their professional development. He will continue to collaborate with faculty, staff, and administrators to advance the mission of the iLabs and the strategic aspiration of Cal Poly Pomona to “serve as the epicenter of creativity, discovery and innovation.”
