In Support of a Prudent Reserve

It isn’t often that Democrats and Republicans who once stood on opposite sides of the political aisle come together for a common cause, but for Mel Levine and Dick Ackerman, this cause is too important. The former members of the California Legislature and current co-chairs of the California Coalition for Public Higher Education agree with the CSU that a prudent financial reserve is a good thing. In this op-ed in the San Francisco Chronicle, they refute the California State Auditor’s recent audit of CSU as both misguided and mistaken.
