She Didn’t Wait Long to Start Giving Back

In higher education jargon, Elizabeth Zangenberg is what you would call a non-traditional student. The Native American military veteran earned her diploma in her early 60s — and she is non-traditional in another, important way: Less than a year after graduating, she has decided to help others by pledging to match the first $2,000 given to the Native American Student Center, the Native American Pipeline program, the Veterans Resource Center and the Lyle Center. That’s $2,000 per center and pipeline.

If that kind of generosity moves you, consider your own donation during the 6th annual Giving Day on April 24-25. You might also want to consider becoming a Giving Day ambassador.
