The recent changes to federal tax laws could leave your head spinning, but the College of Business Administration might have the tonic you need. For years, the CBA has prepared individual income tax returns through the Internal Revenue Service’s Volunteer Income Tax Assistance program. Most individuals or households earning less than $54,000 are eligible for help from juniors, seniors and recent alumni who have gone through extensive training and have passed the IRS volunteer examinations. (These volunteers are supervised by Cal Poly Pomona faculty who are also certified public accountants.)
