Keith Forward has joined the Office of Academic Programs as the faculty director for undergraduate studies and general education.
As the faculty director, Forward will provide leadership for undergraduate studies and general education, including all undergraduate programs, majors and minors. Among other responsibilities, he will advance and promote a vision of undergraduate and general education at Cal Poly Pomona that aligns with the university’s Strategic Plan and Academic Master Plan.
Forward joined Cal Poly Pomona in 2012, earning the title of associate professor in the Department of Chemical & Materials Engineering in 2018. During the last year, he has served as both an undergraduate research fellow in the Office of Undergraduate Research, and in the interim faculty director for undergraduate studies and general education role.
Forward is committed to working with both faculty and administration to develop programs that promote undergraduate student success.
