VIVID MEMORIES OF A BLURRED PAST


The works of Maya Stovall, an assistant professor of liberal studies at Cal Poly Pomona and an artist, are part of an exhibition at the Atlanta Contemporary. Interested in what she considers monumental questions of human existence and politics of space and place, Stovall is equally a contemporary artist and anthropologist, and works across video, photo, and conceptual practice.
