Cal Poly Pomona professors Sandra Emerson and Carsten Lange conduct a study, along with the Emerson Consulting Group, that found that the City of Industry’s 3,000 businesses generated roughly $31 billion in sales in 2016, a number that surpasses the gross domestic product of 100 countries.
