When Prison and Graph Theory Meet
Jenny Switkes, a Cal Poly Pomona mathematics teacher, and Devonna Alatorre, a just-graduated Cal Poly Pomona mathematics student, team up to teach a volunteer graph theory class to a group of prison inmate students for seven weeks at the California Rehabilitation Center.
