Campus Road Construction to Cause Traffic Delays

Due to the installation of new traffic signal equipment and roadwork modifications at the Temple/South Campus intersection and the Temple/University intersection we are anticipating traffic delays.

Work will be sporadic as the contractor deals with several relocation items and new curb layouts to add a new right turn lane from South Campus to Temple and a second left turn lane from Temple to both South Campus and University. You can expect the delays starting today, Feb. 3 from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. and continuing Monday through Friday until the work is completed.

The roadway and traffic signal work are tied to the construction of a new parking garage where what is known as Lot K is located. Construction of Parking Structure 2, which is slated to open in the fall, began last spring. The structure will provide approximately 1,825 spaces.

Please be watchful and courteous as the workers are making every effort to complete the required task as quickly as possible. If you should have any questions, contact Bruyn Bevans at (909) 979-5517.
