Hot Dog Caper Serves Up Food and Fun


Grooving to 1960s tunes by the band Aquarius, Cal Poly Pomona students, staff and faculty celebrated the start of the new school year at the 32nd annual Hot Dog Caper.

Participants consumed more than 16,000 hot dogs and veggie dogs, as well as more than 14,000 drinks and 12,000 bags of chips.hotdogcaperinfographic

The Cal Poly Pomona Foundation hosted the Oct. 8 event, which also featured photo booths, airbrush tattoo artists, an inflatable obstacle course, prizes, games hosted by Associated Students Inc., and more.

Poly Life, a student-developed program produced through MediaVision, captured the excitement of the day.
