CPP Mobile, Cal Poly Pomona’s official app for mobile devices, has learned a new trick — class registration.
The app, which has just been relaunched, adds class registration through BroncoDirect to its stable of features, which also include campus maps, an events calendar, university news, a Bronco Express shuttle tracker, Blackboard and more.
“The biggest feature with the new app is that students can now register for classes from their mobile devices,” says Jonathan Tran, a campus application developer.
Another big change with the app is that its maps feature is now powered by Google maps.
“So you can use your phone’s GPS feature on campus and see where you are on campus, and see where buildings are in respect to you,” he says.
CPP Mobile is available on both Google Play and iTunes. The previous version of the app was downloaded over 9,000 times. For more information, visit: https://www.cpp.edu/~mobile-app/
