Landscape Architecture Professor wins George P. Hart Award

Kyle Brown, a professor of landscape architecture and director of the John T. Lyle Center for Regenerative Studies, was named the 2015-16 recipient of the George P. Hart Award for Outstanding Faculty Leadership. Brown is a co-chair for the President’s Climate Commitment Task Force at Cal Poly Pomona and co-author of the University’s Climate Action Plan. He also serves on the College of Environmental Design’s Executive Committee, and is currently the principal investigator for the Sustainability Fellowship Program funded by the Ernest Prete Jr. Foundation and the Regenerative Community Initiative funded by the Boeing Foundation.
