Landscape Architecture Professor Wins Award in Archinect Competition


Professor Barry Lehrman’s first competition entry, “Recharge City,” for Archinect’s Dry Futures won 3rd place in the Pragmatic Category. His submission identified ways to reuse the 502 million gallons of treated effluent dumped into the Pacific Ocean by the Hyperion Treatment Plant in El Segundo and Los Angeles County’s Joint Water Pollution Control Plant in Carson.
