The Department of Theatre and New Dance will kick off its production of “RE/DEVISED FAIRY TALES” on Friday, May 22.
The show takes iconic fairy tales and infuses them with elements of graphic novels, anime, super-hero stories and French new-wave cinema. The stories take viewers into a world of drug lords, war criminals, vicious teenagers, lonely outcasts, murderous husbands and knife-wielding wives.
Performances are in the Main Stage Theatre in Building 25 on May 22-23, and May 28-30 at 8 p.m., May 27 at 10 a.m. and May 31 at 2 p.m.
General admission is $15; students and faculty are $10. Tickets can be purchased online. Parking is $5 and can be purchased at the Visitor Information Booth along Kellogg Drive.
