Post-Feminism Artists Showcased at Kellogg Art Gallery Exhibits

The Kellogg Art Galleries’ current shows feature female artists. In “Abstract Mystique,” works produced by notable female Los Angeles-area artists reflect on the emergence of female Abstract Expressionist painters in a post-feminist-movement world in the Back Gallery. “Joan Kahn: A 15-Year Survey, Paintings 2000-2014” features geometric abstract painting combined with the organic texture of wood in the Front Gallery. The Kellogg Gallery is located on the north side of the Bronco Student Center in Building 35A and is open Monday and Tuesday from 4 to 8 p.m.; Wednesday, Thursday, Saturday and Sunday from noon to 4 p.m.
