The Center for Community Engagement will host Cal Poly Pomona’s largest one-day volunteer event from 7 a.m. to 2 p.m. on April 11. University students, staff, faculty and alumni will join more than 1,000 volunteers from Pomona to participate in dozens of service projects around the city. The projects can range from trash cleanup, gardening, painting to organizing. After a morning of work, volunteers can enjoy a celebration barbecue lunch provided by Kiwanis at the Diamond Plaza in Downtown Pomona. Visit www.cpp.edu/cce for registration and other information.
