Female Artists Showcased at Kellogg Art Galleries’ Exhibits

The Kellogg Art Galleries’ current shows feature female artists. “Abstract Mystique,” works produced by notable female Los Angeles-area artists Lorraine Cleary Dale, Virginia Katz, Trang Lê, Nancy Monk, Leslie Love Stone, Gretel Stephens and Maggie Tennesen, reflect on the emergence of female Abstract Expressionists painters in a post-feminist-movement world in the Back Gallery. “Joan Kahn: A Fifteen-Year Survey, Paintings 2000-2014” features geometric abstract painting combined with the organic texture of wood in the Front Gallery.
