Starting, Monday, June 16, the Cal Poly Pomona campus will shift to a 4/10 work schedule for the summer.
All university offices will be open for business from 7 a.m. to 6 p.m., Monday through Thursday. The campus is closed on Fridays, except for a few offices such as University Police, Kellogg West, the residence halls and the Children’s Center.
The 4/10 work schedule will remain in effect through Thursday, Aug. 21. After that, the university will return to its regular operating schedule.
The exceptions are the weeks of June 30 to July 4 and July 28 to Aug. 1. For those weeks, the university will observe the regular five-day work week and eight-hour work day.
The 4/10 schedule allows the university to reduce its energy costs and carbon footprint. It was first implemented in 2008.
More information about the 4/10 schedule is available on the Human Resources website.
