The search for the next president of Cal Poly Pomona began May 12 with an open forum and meeting of the presidential search trustees committee and advisory committee.
CSU Board Trustee and committee chair Lou Monville gave an overview of committee’s role, the closed process and the need for privacy to ensure a robust list of highly qualified candidates. He encouraged the campus community to give feedback about preferred attributes of the next president and nominations for the position.
During the open forum, members of the campus community and the public had the opportunity to share what they wanted to see in the next president. Comments may also be sent to presidentsearch@calstate.edu.
More information about the search process is available on the Presidential Search website.
