The university has scheduled a series of interviews this month as it moves forward in its search to replace outgoing Vice President of administrative affairs and Chief Financial Officer Ed Barnes.
The campus community is invited to attend the open forums and to review the candidates’ application materials. All interviews will be in the Heritage Conference Room, which is on the eighth floor of the CLA building. (98T-8)
Darwin Labordo, associate vice president/associate chief financial officer at Cal Poly Pomona, will interview on Monday, Oct. 7, from 10:45 to 11:45 a.m. James E. Main, senior vice president for
administration and finance & chief operating officer at the Charles
R. Drew University of Medicine and Science in Los Angeles, will
interview on Tuesday, Oct. 8, from 10:45 to 11:45 a.m.
Steven N. Garcia, senior vice president for finance and administration
at Claremont Graduate University, will interview on Wednesday, Oct. 9, from 10:45 to 11:45 a.m. For more information about the candidates, click here
Video of all sessions will be available after the last one is
completed. Attendees are encouraged to provide input to the search
committee by taking a short survey for each candidate. Surveys may be
downloaded and returned to theresar@cpp.edu. An MS Word version of the survey is also available. All surveys will close on Oct. 15.
Barnes will retire in December after 32 years of service to the university.
