If you have a camera phone, point-and-shoot or DSLR, you can help showcase Cal Poly Pomona and celebrate the university’s 75th anniversary.
The Capture Your Campus Photo Contest is looking for the best photos of people, places and activities on campus. Photos must be taken on campus from Oct. 1 to Nov. 18. Photos may be taken in any format, but must be submitted digitally.
“There are a lot of talented Broncos on campus, and this is the perfect opportunity for them to show their creativity,” says university photographer Tom Zasadzinski, who is also one of the contest judges.
The contest is also about celebrating the university, says Ani Markarian, graphic artist in the Office of Public Affairs and contest judge. “Our campus is so beautiful, and we’re here to celebrate the present. We also want to celebrate the accomplishments of those before us and everyone here today.”
The three categories are:
- This is Cal Poly Pomona
- Campus Beauty
- Campus Life
The top 15 photos (five per category) will be exhibited at the Bronco Student Center next winter quarter. Cal Poly Pomona Facebook fans will vote on the three best photos, and winners will receive a $50 gift card.
