Planning to earn a doctoral degree? Learn more about the Ronald McNair Post-Baccalaureate Achievement Program Scholars Program that gives undergraduates an opportunity to work with a faculty mentor, explore and conduct research in their discipline, and prepare to enroll in graduate school. The program is named for Ronald Erwin McNair, one of the first African-American astronauts and is designed to increase the number of low-income, first-generation students, or underrepresented students in doctoral degree programs. It is funded by a U.S. Department of Education grant. Visit www.cpp.edu/~mcnair/applicants/index.html to get more information on eligibility and application due dates.
