Six Computer Information Systems alumni have been honored for work they did as students to create a website for a nonprofit organization.
Daniel Hsu, Yan Ma, Justin Chong, Alejandro Ruiz, Chris Mui and Lawrence Kung – all 2012 graduates – collaborated together to create a website for the Cambodian Fine Art Heritage Relief Foundation. The 10-week senior project integrated text, video and photos as well as the ability for visitors to donate to the group.
The foundation presented the students with certificates of appreciation at its November fundraiser in Anaheim. The organization provides humanitarian relief to Cambodian orphanages and promotes Cambodian culture in the United States through dance.
