The Fall 2012 Shpachenko & Friends Chamber Music Festival features an array of renowned guest artists who will present piano master classes and perform in an evening concert.
Three piano master classes will be presented by David Korevaar, Victor Rosenbaum and John Perry on three days in October. All are free and open the public.
The evening concert on Oct. 17 will feature Professor Nadia Shpachenko, piano; Los Angeles Philharmonic Principal Concertmaster Martin Chalifour, violin; and David Korevaar, piano. They will perform works by W.A. Mozart, J. Brahms and W. Lutoslawski. To purchase tickets, go to https://csupomona.tix.com/Event.asp?Event=507250.
“I am honored to welcome these wonderful guest artists back and can’t wait to see Cal Poly Pomona students, faculty and community members at these events,” Shpachenko says. “These artists left lasting, unforgettable impressions among our students, who repeatedly asked for the chance to learn from them in master classes and in concerts again.”
