Governor Jerry Brown’s recently released May Revise included an additional $50 million potential trigger cut to the CSU. If the governor’s tax initiative falls in November, the CSU would be hit with a $250 million cut, about $11.75 million for Cal Poly Pomona.
On Wednesday, President Ortiz invites all faculty and staff to watch a live stream of the CSU’s System Budget Advisory Committee meeting. Video will be aired in Ursa Major, BSC at 10:30 a.m., and the campus community is invited to provide feedback to the committee.
