[Updated Oct. 4, 10:23 a.m.] The Bronco Bookstore has resumed normal operations, and classes will be held in the building.
Facilities has identified a section of underground cable that requires repairs, which will take a few days. A generator will provide power to the Bronco Bookstore (Building 66) from 7 a.m. to 10 a.m. through Friday or until the repairs are completed.
[Updated 3:20 p.m.] Some classes held in the Bronco Bookstore (Building 66) have been moved or canceled for Monday and Tuesday. Students should contact the department office for more information.
[Updated 2:50 p.m.] The Bronco Bookstore is slowly being converted to generator power.
[Updated 10:42 a.m.] Facilities staff have completely restored power to Building 4. The bookstore is still without electricity.
Staff are reporting that buildings 37 and 38, which are part of the swine and sheep units, have also lost power.
[Updated 10:23 a.m.] The Bronco Bookstore (Building 66) and biotechnology building (4) are closed Monday morning due to a power outage. Facilities staff are investigating the cause and working to restore electricity.
Building marshals are on site with updates about the situation. Classes in those buildings have not yet been canceled. Students are advised to meet in front of the building for more information.
