Ronald Quinn, professor emeritus of biological sciences and regenerative studies, was keynote speaker at the September Heritage Days Festival in Southwestern New Mexico. The festival conference was sponsored by the Wildlands Network of North America. His talk, ¿Fire and the Future of the Chiricahua Mountains,” was based on 15 years research on southwestern forest fire ecology.
