Russ Anchondo, an electrician in facilities planning & management, lost his battle with pancreatic cancer Aug. 5. He was 55.
Anchondo, who lived in Rialto, joined the Cal Poly Pomona community in April 1996. He enjoyed restoring motorcycles, and went on a road trip of the United States when he was younger. Anchondo also loved classic rock ¿n¿ roll.
Anchondo is survived by his wife, Sandra; son, Russell; daughters Rachelle, Tricia, Sueann and Timmerey; six grandchildren; his mother, Lorraine; sister, Renee; and brothers Mike, Joe and Arnie. He is preceded in death by his son Luke.
A memorial service will be held at 4:30 p.m. on Aug. 21 at Riverside Community Center for Spiritual Living, 3891 Ridge Road, Riverside.
