Advertising promoting the “Freaknic Meets Spring Bling” concert has incorrectly listed Cal Poly Pomona as the venue for its Memorial Day weekend event. On May 10, the university discovered online advertising for the event, which appears to be hosted by King Cavy Entertainment. However, no such event will take place at Cal Poly Pomona. The event promoters have removed online materials that listed the university as its concert venue through their own media channels. However, other event websites and caches may continue to show the incorrect location information.
