Music Department Winter Quarter Event Calendar

Music Department Winter Quarter Event Calendar

The music department will emphasize the changes in the music industry and changes in music-making at seminars and performances during winter quarter. The events will not only focus on the creative aspect of the music industry, they will also include scholarly discussion panels.

Special events include a Barry Green workshop, a panel on music and image, and a piano master class taught by pianist Lei Weng.

This workshop is designed to bring imagination and spirit to music through the three master skills: breath, pulse and movement.
