“For 22 years, this university has been part of my extended family,” Doda says. “I have been fortunate to work among an incredible group of IT professionals who have advanced so much good work across campus. I know the coming months will move extremely fast, so I plan on enjoying every moment. But as an alumna, my relationship with Cal Poly Pomona will go on forever”
Doda originally joined the university as the director of telecommunications and was involved in many campus construction projects, including the CLA Building. She also supervised the Y2K Readiness Project, the Human Resource and Finance PeopleSoft Project and the conversion of the Banner Student System to PeopleSoft. Prior to her current position, she had served as the associate vice president.
“Stephanie has been a remarkable asset to Cal Poly Pomona,” says university President Michael Ortiz. “Whenever called upon, she has stepped in and made a difference. Her efforts have not only impacted the Division of Instruction and Information Technology, but across campus through her uncompromising commitment to accessibility.”
Transition plans regarding the CIO position will be announced in the coming weeks.
