The theatre department explores the main stages of life in their production of Thornton Wilder’s “Our Town.” The show, which takes place in early 20th century New Hampshire, will open Nov. 12 at 8 p.m. and run through Nov. 21.
“Our Town” follows a town’s average citizens through their lives and marriage. The play also explores the themes of life after death. Thornton Wilder’s production is known for the prominent role of the stage manager, who has some of the most significant lines.
Theatre Professor Linda Bisesti is directing the play.
“Our Town” will run on Nov. 12, 13, 18, 19, 20 at 8 p.m. in the University Theatre. Special showings include Nov. 17 at 10 a.m., and Nov. 21 at 2 p.m. Tickets are $15 for general admission and $10 for students, senior citizens, faculty and staff.
